From 1 January 2008 we have introduced a single group management structure and governance framework, overlaying the national statutory structures of SELEX Sensors and Airborne Systems Ltd and Galileo Avionica SpA..
 
To reflect the diverse nature of activities, this group of companies will be branded and presented to the market as "SELEX GALILEO", although the current legal names will be retained until later next year. For the avoidance of doubt, we will continue to trade as Galileo Avionica SpA, an Italian registered Company.  All registrations, account references and codes remain unchanged.  We will notify you prior to any further changes and obtain any prior permissions and consents as appropriate to any change of name
 
This new organisation will be consistent with membership of the SELEX defence electronics group, our parent company, Finmeccanica, and will be better placed to play our part in Finmeccanica?s challenge to become a truly global player. 
 
In planning for this integration we have taken care to observe that all appropriate governance arrangements will be maintained that respect national security and regulatory requirements and confidentiality obligations to those we trade with, as well as continued compliance with Italian export control regulations.
