SELEX Sensors and Airborne Systems UK Precision Casting Centre (PCC) was
established in 1979 to provide inter-group companies with a world class
production capability in-house. The PCC has business interests in the UK,
United States and Europe with customer approvals ranging from Raytheon and
Eaton Aerospace in the defence and aerospace fields to other clients in diverse
markets ranging from motorsport to medical.
SELEX S&AS UK offers a wide range of capabilities in Precision
Casting. We are continuously monitoring developments within the metal
manufacturing industry and are committed to investing in improvement programmes
incorporating state-of-the-art casting methods. Our purpose built
facility consists of design offices, laboratory and production facilities;
bringing together the entire casting process in a single self-contained
area.
The PCC boasts of extensive experience in assisting design authorities with
the design for manufacture and concurrent engineering of complex structures, a
rapid prototype service using stereolithography (SLA) models and the one stop
facility producing fully machined, processed and assembled castings.
