We have considerable experience in the naval area.  The technology for our Naval Electronic Warfare business builds on the understanding of our airborne programmes.  This brings wealth of knowledge in design for low power consumption and compactness.
We have completed many studies, assessments and demonstrations for the UK MoD and overseas organisations.  This business has created a highly experienced and capable team who have developed and produced a wide variety of products including: active radio frequency decoys to defeat anti-ship missiles and Electronic Support Measures (ESM) for our domestic and export markets.

.
SIREN NAVAL OFFBOARD ACTIVE RADAR DECOY
The SIREN active off-board decoy is launched to defeat a missile in the final stages of its attack, even after its radar seeker head has locked onto the target ship. The decoy transmits a powerful and highly directional jamming signal towards the threat missile, disrupting its guidance system and seducing it away from the target.
.
PALS Sea
PALS operates well outside the radar detection range of vessels under surveillance. Using specially developed enhanced emitter identification algorithms, PALS examines the radar signature of vessels to reveal its unique characteristics and, from this, the vessel that it is fitted to.
.
1223 LASER WARNING RECEIVER
State of the art laser warning receiver.
.
CONCEPT-TO-CAPABILITY (C2C)
The C2C facility developed by SELEX GALILEO offers a synthetic environment where integrated sensor solutions can be developed and deployed, providing cost-effective and demonstrable operational capability across a number of disciplines.
