 | Eagle MW The Eagle MW is a 640 x 512 mercury cadmium telluride (MCT) integrated
detector cooler (IDCA) designed for a very high performance imaging in the 3 -
5 µm waveband. It provides the highest environmental integrity along with
the superior performance of focal plane detectors. |
 | Eagle LW The Eagle long wave is a 640 x 512 mercury cadmium telluride (MCT)
integrated detector cooler assembly (IDCA) designed for very high performance
imaging in the 8 - 10µm waveband. Eagle uses the SELEX S&AS UK MCT process
and provides the highest environmental integrity along with the superior
performance of focal plane detectors. |
 | Merlin MW Currently in development, the Merlin MW is 1024 x 768 mercury cadmium
telluride (MCT) integrated detector cooler assembly (IDCA) designed for very
high performance imaging in the 3 - 5µm waveband. Merlin uses the SELEX
S&AS UK MCT process and provides the highest environmental integrity along
with the superior performance of focal plane detectors |
 | Harrier LW Currently in development, the Harrier LW is 640 x 512 mercury cadmium
telluride (MCT) integrated detector cooler assembly (IDCA) designed for very
high performance imaging in the 8 - 10 µm waveband. Harrier LW uses
the SELEX S&AS UK MCT process and provides the highest environmental
integrity along with the superior performance of focal plane detectors |
 | Hawk The Hawk medium wave infrared detector is a compact light weight 640 x 512
mercury cadmium telluride (MCT) integrated detector cooler assembly (IDCA)
designed for very high performance low cost imaging in the 3 - 5µm waveband.
HAWK uses the SELEX S&AS UK MCT process and provides the highest
environmental integrity along with the superior performance of focal plane
detectors. |
 | Osprey C MW A compact light weight 384 x 288 MCT integrated detector cooler assembly
(IDCA), designed for high performance, low cost imaging in the 3 - 5µm
waveband. Osprey-C uses the SELEX S&AS MCT process and provides the highest
environmental integrity along with the superior performance of focal plane
detectors. |
 | Osprey C LW The Osprey C LW is a compact light weight 384 x 288 mercury cadmium
telluride (MCT) integrated detector cooler assembly (IDCA) designed for very
high performance and low cost imaging in the 8 - 10 µm waveband.
Merlin uses the SELEX S&AS UK MCT process and provides the
highest environmental integrity along with the superior performance of focal
plane detectors |
 | Stairs C STAIRS C 768 channel MCT integrated detector cooler assembly is designed for
very high performance in the 8 - 10 µm waveband. STAIRS C uses the SELEX
S&AS UK MCT process to provide the highest environmental integrity
along with the superior performance of focal plane detectors. |
 | CONDOR II Currently in development, the Condor II dual band detector is a 640 x 512
mercury cadmium telluride (MCT) integrated detector cooler assembly (IDCA)
designed for very high performance imaging in the 3 to 5 and 8 to 10µm
wavebands. Operation is either MW, LW or both MW and LW bands per frame. |
 | SWAN The Swan detector is a unique product offering a variety of imaging modes
within one compact lightweight 320 x 256 MCT integrated detector assembly
(IDCA). The detector can be used for laser gated imaging at the eyesafe 1.5µm
wavelength, or high performance passive thermal imaging in the 3 - 5µm
waveband. The Swan detector can also be used for passive or solar imaging in
the short waveband. This combination of imaging modes allows electro-optic
systems to be designed with much lower costs, size and weight. |
 | WREN The Wren detector is a high performance single element DLATGS pyroelectric
infrared detector designed for use in infrared microscopy and spectroscopy
applications. This detector operates at ambient temperature so requires no
cooling. It has been developed to offer an alternative to conventional cooled
single element technologies, and offers the user the benefit of a broad band IR
response (0.1 to >100µm) and without the inconvenience or cost of
maintaining a cooling system. |
 | JAY The Jay is a 16 element (8 x 2) MCT detector in a liquid nitrogen cooled
dewar, designed for high performance infrared spectroscopy imaging. With
SELEX's expertise and 50 year heritage in material growth techniques, this
product offers the superior performance and quality of SELEX's in house grown
Cadmium Mercury Telluride material, originally developed for critical military
applications. |
 | DLATGS Infrared detectors for instrumentation SELEX S&AS UK are the leading manufacturer of DLATGS detectors for
infrared spectrometers supplying high performance detectors at competitive
prices to major infrared spectrometer manufacturers all over the world. DLATGS
detectors are pyroelectric and can be operated uncooled or with temperature
stabilisation. They are supplied in a range of element sizes with options of
hermetic sealing, parylene coating, filter material, pin configuration and
performance characteristics. |
