Laser Systems

In 1968 SELEX S&AS UK developed the world's first fully stabilised airborne laser system.  Today, this tradition of excellence is continued as the next generation of laser technology is pioneered within the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) electro-optic targeting system.

SELEX S&AS UK has been involved in the design and manufacture of lasers since 1963, participating in over 100 targeting lasers and sub-system programmes for ground, naval and airborne applications. Today, with over 4,500 products delivered worldwide, SELEX S&AS UK continues to develop laser technology for a wide range of military applications
