SELEX Galileo wins 15 million Euro contracts for the Italian - French FREMM programme
SELEX Galileo was awarded orders worth 15 million Euro for its sensors solutions for the FREMM frigates of the Italian Navy, the Marina Militare.
The total participation of SELEX Galileo, Finmeccanica group, in the programme is now valued at more than 42 million Euro, with the initial contracts dating back to 2007.

SELEX Galileo introduces an integrated surveillance system easily deployable
SELEX Galileo of Finmeccanica has recently presented to the Italian Navy and to a delegation of the Italian Army the new TPS - 730 radar integrated with the electro-optic turret NEMO at the UTT Nettuno Range.
 
SELEX Galileo has developed the TPS - 730 radar integrating it in an "all in one" shelter, including a telescopic pole for the Antenna and the NEMO electro-optics. This system can be easily transported and deployed in Homeland Security and Protection scenarios.

SELEX Galileo's Driver's Night Vision System selected for WARTHOG
SELEX Galileo of Finmeccanica is pleased to announce a contract award for 115 of their latest Driver's Night Vision Systems (DNVS) for installation on the ST Kinetics Warthog fleet. 
 
The contract will equip the latest generation of protected all terrain vehicles recently acquired by the UK MoD with a state of the art indirect vision capability providing 24 hour visibility and confirms SELEX Galileo as the principal provider of indirect vision systems to the British army with over 1100 systems ordered to date.

SELEX Galileo awarded contract for ENFORCER Weapon Stations on the Ridgeback Fleet

SELEX Galileo and UOMZ sign a collaboration agreement for Electro Optic systems
SELEX Galileo, a Finmeccanica Company, and UOMZ (Urals Optical and Mechanical Plant) of Russia have signed a collaboration agreement for Electro-Optic systems for civil applications. Under the agreement, UOMZ will supply stabilised turrets to SELEX Galileo for their airborne surveillance solutions.

SELEX Galileo EOST 46 turrets selected for six different platforms
Less than one year from its launch to the market, SELEX Galileo's EOST 46 turret has added six new orders to its book to reach a total of 25 systems. The turret was most recently been selected by international customers for installation on six different platforms, both fixed and rotary wing to cover surveillance applications further confirming the outstanding flexibility of the system.

SELEX Galileo to demonstrate capabilities at the International Paris Airshow, Le Bourget, 2009
The 2009 International Paris Airshow will see SELEX Galileo, of Finmeccanica, return to Le Bourget to demonstrate a selection of its pioneering range of capabilities. The Company will be present on the Finmeccanica stand, number B165 in Hall 2 of the Salon de Bourget exhibition arena and at the outdoor static display, from 15 to 21 June.

SELEX Galileo, leading member of the Finmeccanica UK Battlespace Solutions team, has flown its Unmanned Air System (UAS) during a British Army mission rehearsal exercise in the UK. The flight team from SELEX Galileo's Air Systems, Unmanned Air Systems & Simulators division oversaw a number of successful flights of its STRIX Mini UAS as part of exercises carried out from 16 - 20 March on Salisbury Plain. This involved fast aircraft and helicopters, as well as SELEX Galileo's mini UAS.

SELEX Galileo receives radar contract for US Customs and Border Protection Citation fleet
SELEX Galileo is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a $9.2M contract from TKC Aerospace, Inc. to upgrade the Customs and Border Protection C-550 Citation Tracker Aircraft with its Vixen 500E intercept radar and associated mission management system.
This contract is for the first two radars and mission management systems, with options for additional systems to upgrade the remainder of the fleet.

SELEX Galileo, of Finmeccanica, is set to introduce the development of its new NATO compliant, state-of the-art Common Ground Control Station (CGCS), at the Avalon 2009 Air Show in Victoria, Australia. The CGCS is in pre-production stage at the Company's site in Basildon, UK and is fully compliant with NATO's stringent STANAG 4586 guidelines and standards for imagery, command and control.

SELEX Galileo's HALO Acoustic Weapon Locating System to Enter Service with the Spanish Army
SELEX Galileo, a Finmeccanica company, and INDRA of Spain are delighted to announce that the SELEX Galileo HALO Weapon Locating System is due to enter service with the Spanish Army early in 2009. The HALO system has undergone an in depth investigation and was chosen by the Spanish Army at the end of an extensive competitive tendering process. HALO is already in operational service with the UK, US and Canadian Armed Forces and Spain will be the fourth user to deploy the system in support of their troops currently deployed on coalition operations. This purchase brings the total number of countries that have HALO in service to six with more in the pipeline.
