Rewards and Benefits

Key Benefits
Working for SELEX Galileo is extremely rewarding. The main feature of the Transnational Graduate Development Programme is the emphasis placed on career development, achieved through an appealing suite of training opportunities.

An offsite Induction Programme encourages new graduates to gain expertise in understanding the SELEX Galileo Business environment and the importance of understanding our Customer. During the Induction graduates learn about these skills through fun and exciting activities promoting team building within the graduate community.

The Transnational Graduate Programme aims to reinforce skills introduced during induction and builds on soft skills of communication, team-work, conflict resolution and self-awareness. The programme consists of 3 offsite modules.

  •  Module One is a three day UK based course that focuses on you and, through recognised personality and trait questionnaires, identifies your approach, giving you an insight into how you are perceived by others in the workplace. The Module provides the opportunity to bring together all graduates from across the UK.

  •  International Module Two is a three day module held in Italy which enables UK and Italian graduates to meet senior leaders from SELEX Galileo in UK and Italy. The module uses exercises that enable graduates to develop team working skills, understand cultural differences and present to others.

  •  International Module Three is a 2 days Graduate Conference that marks the end of the Trans-national Graduate Development Programme. The conference starts with an evening dinner, entertainment and guest speakers and brings graduates from UK and Italy together for a final time. The conference is well supported by Managers and Directors from SELEX Galileo and other Finmeccanica Group companies.

A package of over 20 Awareness Sessions has been designed in-house to give graduates an overview of different areas of the business. Sessions are presented by a senior Managers or Directors to offer networking opportunities and an understanding of all the various functions that contribute to the business.
