Seekers

SELEX S&AS UK surveillance, targeting and homing equipment engages infrared seekers.  These are used for precision attacks against difficult targets.  This technology can be used in a range of environments, in the air, on land and at sea. 
SELEX S&AS UK have developed dual-band seekers to operate in the ultraviolet and infrared band in an effort to distinguish between decoys and targets and also to seek out the target through other sources of radiated energy.

Storm Shadow  The cross cutting weapon technology infrared seeker Storm Shadow is enhanced to seek hardened and buried targets.

Javelin  SELEX S&AS UK is the confirmed choice for the supply of advanced solutions on primary programmes including Javelin.  Javelin is the anti-tank weapon system using high tech infrared seeker.  It is in service with the U.S. Army and Marine Corps and has been deployed by the U.S. and Australia in Operation Iraqi Freedom. In addition to its use by infantry and special forces, Javelin is being evaluated for integration into ground and naval platforms.  The cross cutting weapon technology infrared seeker Storm Shadow is enhanced to seek hardened and buried targets.
