Advanced Sensors | Hydra The Hydra sensor range is meeting the need for detection, localisation, and identification of intrusion by using rugged, remote sensing, surveillance, and versatile wireless sensing networks. Hydra Sensors include Acoustic Sensors, Networked Surveillance Sensors, Passive Infrared Sensors and Remote Imaging Sensors.
The Hydra Acoustic Sensors provide non line-of-sight surveillance capability to the tactical operator. The Hydra Networked Surveillance Sensors provide an integrated 24-hour remote surveillance system, giving timely, positive detection and identification of threats. The Hydra Passive Infrared Sensors provide accurate and reliable detection of human activity, ideally suited to the protection of perimeters, passageways, roads or crossing points. The Hydra Remote Imaging Sensors allow real-time video streams to be remotely viewed from visual band and Infrared cameras utilising the Hydra wireless sensing network.
