A new set of flight trials for the Gabbiano radar recently came to a successful conclusion, with the medium power (20W) version of the radar with solid state amplifier and nose mounted antenna proving its capabilities on board AgustaWestland's AW139 helicopter. The flight campaign confirmed the radar's performance and operational capabilities, including surveillance with Track While Scan (TWS), search and rescue, High Resolution Synthetic Aperture Antenna (SAR), Inverse Synthetic Aperture Antenna (ISAR), navigation with ground mapping and weather avoidance.

SELEX Galileo, a Finmeccanica Company, has signed a contract for more than 30M  EUR with Surrey
Satellite Technology Ltd (SSTL), Galileo Full Operating Capability (FOC) Payload Contractor, to
provide the Company's Passive Hydrogen MASER (PHM) atomic clocks for the Galileo FOC
navigation satellites, a programme of and funded by the European Union .
SELEX Galileo is the prime contractor for the PHM with Swiss company SpectraTime as
subcontractor. The PHM clocks are to be installed on each of the 14 satellites in the Galileo system.

SELEX Galileo, a Finmeccanica Company, is pleased to announce the delivery by COBHAM Australia of the tenth and last Project Sentinel DHC-8 aircraft, modified for a civil maritime surveillance role, to the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service. These aircraft are fitted with the SELEX Galileo-developed Surveillance Information Management (SIM) system, which is in the final stages of development and delivery.

Attendees were able to catch a glimpse of the Company's latest radar and advanced targeting technology such as the PicoSAR AESA radar, miniaturised to fit into Unmanned Aerial Systems (such as the Company's Falco) and rotary wing platforms. FOCUS ON: Enhanced facility in US to produce AGP for Apache customers
SELEX Galileo's production facility at Huntsville, Alabama has been further developed, allowing the facility to produce additional Aircraft Gateway Processors (AGP) for Apache customers.
